Lo-Rise Swing-away hardware is the next step up from the standard Swing-away hardware. The main difference being the vertical adjustment slot. This slot offers superior levels of pad adjustment. It allows us to overcome the well-known challenge of hardware clashes leading to trunk positioning compromises. This solution is very useful when space is limited on the backrest.

The standard Swing-away hardware offers a durable system which has an in-built dual pivot design, essentially offering an in built “off set” bracket, allowing for maximum trunk support for the user and ultimate positioning. In turn this allows for pressure to be spread over the largest possible surface area which increases comfort by reducing pressure.

The Contour pad is to supports lateral positioning and can be effective as a guide for the user as well as a correction for the head position. Mounted on the Axis stem hardware, this kit is highly adjustable but easy to use daily.

The additional Pivot variation of the Lo-Rise Swing-away bracket allows the pad to become height adjustable in terms of angle adjustment which is the perfect solution for asymmetric trunk shapes and ensuring the maintaining high levels of pressure distribution. This hardware offers the most adjustment and is the most adjustable on the market.
